Dr. Linda will be our speaker and the title of her talk is “Finding Ancestral Locations.”
The speaker will discuss how to find ancestral locations from deeds or other sources, how to transfer that data onto modern day maps, and the use of Google Earth to fly over and Street View to drive by where your ancestor lived or where a significant event occurred.
Attached is a membership application. Even if you are a current member, will you please print off the app and complete for our treasurer’s records. Please PRINT for ease in reading.
President Marcia Guffey wants to increase our membership so bring along a friend, also we need some members to be on our nominating committee. The only office that needs to be filled is that of the treasurer.
