Makerspace: Video Conversion Station

At this station, you can convert VHS, 8mm reel-to-reel, and Super 8 reel-to-reel video to a digital format. You can then burn the digital file to a DVD, save it to a flash drive, or upload it to an online drive. Video conversion for VHS is a real-time conversion, so the play time of the video source is the amount of time it will take to convert. The 8mm reel-to-reel and Super 8 reel-to-reel may take longer than the length of the content on the reel. Blank DVDs can be purchased from the library for $2 each.
