Ankeny Women's Club

The Ankeny Women's Club will host Hilary Kodatt, Director of the Ankeny Art Center. The Ankeny Friends of the Arts started as an arts program for the Ankeny community and the norther Des Moines metro area in 1981. In 2002 they were presented with a great opportunity to expand and the Ankeny Art Center was established. Throughout the building of this facility they have been able to offer more opportunities for the community and now we average over 8,000 visitors each year. The center has two galleries which exhibit Iowa artists only and present K-12 Art Exhibits for local school districts. All exhibits are free and open to the public.
