Event Details

Inspired by fall and Halloween, come to the library and create your own art journal with the Ankeny Art Center. You will be guided in the decoration of an accordion pamphlet using pen, items of collage, watercolor pencil and graphite pencil and writing prompts to render images and sayings. Discussions on composition, proportion and writing will inspire some light journaling exercises.  All attendees will walk away with a designed small art pamphlet with sayings, decorative paper, stamping and collage.
